I am Irad Ingraham and this is my showcase for a selection of the portraits I create in oil. These portraits are on exhibit in the gallery of this site.
I have been painting since the 1980's, and since my retirement as a New York Supreme Court Justice, I now paint full-time.

My paintings have been featured in American Artist magazine, and in the Catalogue of the Art Students League. Procter & Gamble exhibits one of my portraits in the lobby of its new Health Research Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. While my paintings include landscapes, wildlife and still life, I specialize in portraiture. My commissions have included children, both group and individual portraits, teachers, doctors, lawyers, judges, and business people.
