About the Artist Irad Ingraham practiced law in New Berlin, New York for many years before his election to the bench in 1975. As a New York State Supreme Court Justice, he was frequently assigned to Manhattan where he studied art at the Art Students' League in the evenings. Irad has been commissioned to create wildlife and landscapes paintings, yet he specializes in portraits. He has presented several one man exhibits. His paintings have been featured in the catalogue of the Art Students' League and in American Artist magazine. In
1995, he was honored by Procter & Gamble when his portrait of the
late Harry Tecklenburg was placed in the lobby of the new Health Research
Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. |
